The Prayers Project will develop best practices to safely deliver VR Prayers (Experiences) to local residents in East County San Diego. First, we will create VR Stations to safely deliver these immersive experiences to hospital patients, seniors, hospice patients, prison inmates, and the unsheltered.
Delivering VR Prayers must be completed in a way that proves a safe physical and emotional space to view these potentially emotional experiences. We are committed to better understanding how to accomplish this in our groundbreaking research project.
VR Stations are specifically created to keep the viewers physically and emotionally safe. The VR Prayers Project will work with dozens of local organizations in creating safe VR Stations.
PHYSICAL HEALTH CONSIDERATIONS
VR Prayers Project will keep viewers physically safe during the delivery of their prayer. These prayers will protect them in the pre-delivery, delivery, and post-delivery steps in the experience.
MENTAL HEALTH CONSIDERATIONS
VR Prayers have the potential for emotional experiences. Consequently, it's important to care for the viewer in the pre-delivery, delivery, and post-delivery.

1 Corinthians 13:13
Safely delivering VR Prayers is an important part of a VR Ministry. As a result, local community leaders could look into creating a series of VR Stations. These VR Stations will provide a safe and secure place for local residents to view immersive prayer experiences.
VR Stations can be built in local hospitals, hospices, senior living, prisons, homelessness facilities, and in villages on missionary trips throughout the world.
VR Prayers must be delivered in professional settings by medically approved staff to ensure the safety of the viewer. In many cases, VR Prayers should be delivered by healthcare professionals in your area. These immersive experiences may become a challenge for hospital patients, seniors, and the unsheltered. Here are a few things to consider as we launch the VR Prayers Project.
VR Prayers are a powerful tool to support community residents to feel loved, connected, and empowered. With that in mind, VR Prayers must always be delivered in ways that support the viewer. Always check with the viewer's mental health practitioner before delivering VR Prayers.
